What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with business partners and other teams to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
• Maintain detailed documentation for system design, architecture, and codebase for stakeholders

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of building and deploying large-scale systems
• 8+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale technology transformations
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Expertise in software architecture and design patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization
• Cloud and/or Developer certifications
• Proficiency in designing solutions leveraging AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and services
• Familiarity with message queues and brokers
