What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Support Project Managers on project tasks and assignments to meet profitability goals
• Conduct biological and waters/wetland analysis, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
• Prepare CEQA and NEPA documentation and manage permitting applications
• Coordinate project assignments and develop analysis protocols for environmental assessments
• Maintain strong QA/QC procedures and ensure document integrity

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• BS or MS in biology, ecology, wetland science, or a similar field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a biologist in Southern California
• Knowledge of environmental regulations including FESA, CESA, CWA, CEQA, and NEPA
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in specialized fields such as botany, wildlife biology, or wetland ecology
• Experience conducting wetland delineations and preparing jurisdictional delineation reports
• Familiarity with managing databases related to environmental projects
