What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage the modernization of legacy applications and lead a software development team for application modernizations deploying to AWS GovCloud using CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules in GitLab, ensuring timely project execution
- Identify, track, mitigate, and resolve schedule and performance risks while regularly reporting progress to leadership
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and customers, coordinating meetings to gather and document requirements
- Facilitate Scrum meetings, including daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Information Technology Project Manager in a DoD environment, managing a software/agile development team deploying AWS or GovCloud using CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience in creating, coordinating, and tracking project schedules and tasks
- Experience in modernizing legacy applications and/or deploying to AWS
- Familiarity with PM/CM tools like GitLab or TFS
- Active or Interim Secret Security Clearance
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Certifications in AWS, PMP, or as a Scrum Master
- Experience working in a DoD software development and IT environment
