About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, OIG is responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining enterprise-grade software that supports access governance for thousands of enterprises. This role involves shaping product architecture and features while collaborating across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. The position directly impacts how organizations manage access governance effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of feature areas from design through deployment and monitoring
- Design and implement high-quality, reliable, and performant features
- Deliver timely bug fixes and address customer issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate with product development, QA, and site reliability teams for scoping and deployment
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of independently delivering complex production features
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems serving enterprise customers
- Expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and data modeling at scale
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent JVM/cloud-native languages
- Ability to drive technical alignment across teams without direct authority
- Experience designing systems meeting enterprise reliability, scalability, and security standards including multi-tenancy, high availability, audit logging, and RBAC/ABAC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Must be physically located within US territory as defined by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 2.101
Preferred:
- Experience with identity, access management, or governance products
- Familiarity with workflow or approval systems
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- For candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area: $165,000 to $227,000 USD annual base salary
- For candidates in California (excluding Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington: $147,000 to $202,000 USD annual base salary
- Compensation includes equity (where applicable), bonus, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and paid leave according to applicable plans
