- Provide technical details for cross-team coordination and execute engineering tasks accordingly.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines including build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
- Embed security practices such as SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
- Manage authorization package efforts including evidence control, hardening, and remediation.
- Implement AI features designed by architects, including LLM-backed services and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Build application layers for models including prompt management, evaluation, guardrails, and cost tracking.
- Monitor AI features for quality, latency, cost, and safety, adjusting as needed.
- Deploy and operate services in AWS or Azure government regions using infrastructure as code and container orchestration.
- Collaborate with platform engineers on shared cloud and agent infrastructure.
- Implement observability features such as logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Break down capabilities into deliverables, estimate work, identify risks, and communicate dependencies.
- Produce runbooks, documentation, and handoff materials.
- Lead post-incident remediation and prevention efforts.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years owning production services end to end.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
