About Our Client:

The organization addresses challenges in tracking ad spend and understanding the customer journey by leveraging machine learning and AI to deliver advanced measurement solutions and actionable insights.

About the Opportunity:

The DATA SCIENTIST will be a key member of the Applied Measurement team, responsible for scaling incrementality and measurement products in collaboration with customers. The role involves applying data science, causal inference, and predictive modeling to solve marketing measurement problems, directly impacting the effectiveness of the organization's product offerings and customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate marketing measurement questions into data science problems.
  • Ensure customer data reliability and suitability for modeling and measurement.
  • Analyze modeling and experimentation results, identify issues, and investigate unexpected outcomes.
  • Communicate complex statistical findings as clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Support senior data scientists with complex methodologies and modeling challenges.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to apply measurement solutions in practical contexts.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve measurement reliability and scalability.
  • Contribute to new methodologies, models, and production measurement capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; MS preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience deploying data science, machine learning, or AI systems, preferably with client-facing exposure.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in coding and debugging with ability to produce production-quality code and troubleshoot full-stack issues.
  • Customer-focused approach with enthusiasm for applied problem-solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset with eagerness to learn new domains and methodologies.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in digital marketing or eCommerce analytics.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • Base salary range $130,000 to $160,000 USD, subject to experience and location.
  • Equity package included.
