2. About the Opportunity:

The AI Engineer, Principal is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and Generative AI solutions across healthcare technology platforms. This role drives the integration of AI technologies to improve healthcare outcomes and operational processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and train machine learning and deep learning models, including Generative AI, NLP, and predictive analytics for healthcare applications.
• Develop, test, and deploy AI solutions in cloud and on-premises environments ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Process and engineer features from large healthcare datasets while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Integrate AI models within existing technology systems in collaboration with software engineering teams.
• Monitor, refine, and optimize AI models for accuracy and efficiency using MLOps best practices.
• Stay informed on AI/ML advancements and incorporate new methodologies to enhance solutions.
• Ensure AI implementations comply with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and data privacy.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve business processes with AI-driven solutions.

4. Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Over 5 years of AI/ML engineering experience, including work with Generative AI, NLP, deep learning, and computer vision.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience with LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, or Claude.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps practices, and big data tools like Spark and Hadoop.
• Strong problem-solving skills with capability to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare AI domain and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and CMS is a plus.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range for this position is $137,600.00 to $196,500.00 per year, with base pay varying by region, experience, and skills.
