Role Overview:
We are looking for a business-first data analyst who combines strong analytical skills with sharp business thinking.
This is not a purely technical reporting role. We want someone who can:
- Understand our business deeply
- Identify gaps and growth opportunities
- Design analyses independently
- Generate actionable insights
- Support strategic decisions with data and consumer research
You will work closely with leadership, marketing, product, and operations teams to drive smarter decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business-Focused Data Analysis
- Analyse business performance across marketing, sales, retention, and operations
- Identify revenue leakages, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Break down funnel metrics (lead → trial → enrolment → retention)
- Create structured dashboards and reporting frameworks
- Design new metrics/KPIs when needed (not just report existing ones)
- Translate data into clear business recommendations
2. Problem Identification & Strategic Thinking
- Proactively identify business problems through data
- Ask the right questions before running analysis
- Build hypotheses and test them using data
- Present insights in a structured, decision-ready format
3. Market & Consumer Research
- Conduct secondary market research (industry, competitors, pricing, positioning)
- Design and analyse surveys
- Derive consumer insights from parent interactions and feedback
- Work with internal teams to understand user behaviour patterns
- Identify trends in customer preferences, pricing sensitivity, and buying behaviour
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marketing to improve campaign ROI
- Support Sales with lead quality and conversion analysis
- Help Product team understand user behaviour and retention drivers
- Support leadership with strategic insights and forecasting
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
o Pivot tables
o Advanced formulas
o Data cleaning
o Basic modelling
- Strong comfort with data structuring and analysis
- Working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of SQL (good to have, not mandatory)

Experience

- Improve visibility into funnel and retention metrics
