Project Manager (Digital Marketing Agency)
Position Type: Part-Time (with opportunity to transition to Full-Time)
Schedule: Within 9am-5pm PST Monday - Friday
Salary: $1000 - $2200/month at full-time
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Manager to oversee client onboarding, coordinate internal teams, and ensure all projects and monthly deliverables are completed on time and at a high standard.
This role serves as the central point of coordination across departments including design, development, SEO, paid ads, and account management. You will take ownership of our task management system (Asana), keep projects moving forward, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role ideal for someone with prior digital marketing agency experience who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Setup

Manage the full onboarding process for new clients after the sale is closed

Coordinate across teams to move clients through onboarding stages efficiently

Set up and organize client accounts in platforms such as Asana, Slack, and other systems

Ensure all required information and assets are collected for a smooth project launch
Team Coordination & Project Management

Act as the central connector between all departments (design, development, SEO, paid ads, account management)

Assign, track, and follow up on tasks to ensure deadlines are met

Proactively push projects forward and hold team members accountable

Work closely with team leads, the Operations Manager, and Director to maintain alignment
Deliverables & Ongoing Management
- Oversee monthly client deliverables across all service lines
- Ensure each department is completing required work on schedule
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues
Asana & Systems Ownership
- Take full ownership of Asana as our project management system
- Monitor overdue tasks and follow up with team members
- Maintain organization, structure, and cleanliness within the system
- Manage one-off client requests and ensure proper task creation and tracking
Process Development
- Assist in creating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency
Client Support
- Attend client meetings as needed to take notes and support account managers
- Assist with follow-ups and internal communication after meetings
Administrative Support
- Support general operations and administrative tasks during slower periods
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years experience in a digital marketing agency (project management, operations, or account management)
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana (or similar platforms)
- Solid understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, paid ads, websites, etc.)

- Ability to work during US business hours and attend team/client meetings as needed
