Senior Software Engineer/Architect

Our client is looking for a highly skilled software engineer/architect to lead technical evaluations and provide strategic insights. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on assessing complex systems and communicating their findings to diverse stakeholders. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Conduct thorough technical due diligence focusing on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security of software products and platforms.
• Evaluate overall architecture, including application structure, integrations, data design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Review codebases to assess code quality, identify patterns, and evaluate technical debt.
• Identify risks and opportunities, offering actionable improvement recommendations.
• Create executive-ready reports and presentations summarizing technical assessments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, investors, and client leadership to provide expert technical perspectives.
• Advise on modernization, migration, and technology strategy as needed.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience across various tech stacks and organizations.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, application design, and system scalability.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in conducting technical due diligence, audits, or assessments is preferred.
• Proficient in reviewing code in multiple languages including Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying technical findings for executive audiences.
