UX Designer – Research-Driven HRTech Product Experience Lead
Reports to: CEO
Location: Remote

We are looking for a UX Designer who lives and breathes user research, understands the complexity of HRTech user journeys, and can translate insights into high-quality low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes for our next-generation hiring platform.

You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:
Plan and conduct user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and workflow analyses

Translate research into user personas, journey maps, problem statements, and UX flows

Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and design systems

Work closely with product, engineering, and recruitment SMEs to align business and UX goals

Understand ATS/HRTech domain challenges such as candidate drop-off, recruiter efficiency, hiring funnels, scorecards, and workflow automations

Simplify complex recruitment processes into intuitive UX patterns

Run usability tests and iterate based on feedback

Present research findings and design rationale confidently to stakeholders

You will have success here if you value structured processes and feel qualified to:
Conduct end-to-end user research with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates

Create user flows for job posting, candidate evaluation, interview scheduling, scorecards, and pipeline management

Build wireframes and prototypes that follow accessibility, UX heuristics, and HRTech best practices

Partner with product managers and engineers to bring UX to life

Maintain a scalable and consistent design system

Deliver UX documentation that integrates smoothly with dev sprints

Deliver measurable UX improvements across the hiring funnel

You’ll be accountable to deliver the following key results:
Complete a full user research report within the first 30 days

Deliver low-fidelity wireframes for the ATS core modules within 45 days

Deliver high-fidelity prototypes ready for development within 60 days

Conduct at least 5 recruiter/candidate usability tests per month

Improve usability scores and reduce workflow friction by at least 30% within the first 90 days

Establish and document a Talent Traction Design System

Required Experience & Skills:
3–6 years of UX design experience

Mandatory: Experience designing HRTech / ATS / Recruiting SaaS platforms

Proven experience in user research conducting interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies

Strong portfolio showcasing UX case studies, research insights, and hi-fi designs

Deep understanding of UX heuristics, information architecture, and complex workflow design

Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured design solutions

Fluency with Figma, FigJam, Miro, Notion, and UX research tools

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-Have Experience:
Background in recruitment, HR operations, or talent acquisition

Experience designing AI-powered workflows, matching engines, or dashboards

Experience working in an EOS-run organization

Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Hotjar, FullStory)
