We’re lokking for a Senior Software Platform Engineer, to join our client's team, a global leader in enterprise cloud security and microsegmentation solutions. Their platform protects data centers, cloud environments, and critical enterprise infrastructure against advanced cyber threats.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of their R&D organization, designing and delivering backend infrastructure that powers security products used by some of the world’s largest organizations. It’s a high-impact, product-driven environment where your work directly influences the security, scalability, and performance of global cloud services.

🌐 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading infrastructure software projects from requirements gathering through to delivery in core areas of the platform.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure backend services and infrastructure components.
• Tackling complex technical challenges related to performance optimization, distributed systems, and cloud security.
• Serve as the technical bridge between DevOps and Application engineering teams, driving alignment between infrastructure scalability and product development needs.
• Defining and contributing to the team’s technical roadmap while mentoring junior engineers.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with product, operations, security, and platform teams to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.
• Engaging directly with enterprise clients to address technical challenges and gather feedback on infrastructure capabilities.
• Driving engineering best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and architecture.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

✅ 5+ years of professional software development experience in infrastructure and backend systems.

✅ Solid experience designing and implementing large-scale backend infrastructure projects.

✅ Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or equivalent backend languages.

✅ Deep understanding of Networking and Network Security fundamentals.

✅ Experience working with Linux-based systems in high-scale production environments.

✅ Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker.

✅ Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Ansible, HAProxy, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka.

✅ (Nice to have) Experience developing in C and working within Kubernetes or microservices architectures.

✅ A proactive, collaborative, and curious mindset with a drive for engineering excellence.
