We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head the Lifecycle Marketing department in our agency!
This role is crucial in managing and expanding our team, optimizing systems and processes, overseeing profit and loss (P&L), and driving service innovation to enhance quality control and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large teams, fostering accountability, and staying ahead of industry trends.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be the visionary for your department, consistently striving to ensure your team performs at its best while being accountable for client outcomes and satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead, develop, and inspire team members through regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that drives career fulfillment and client ROI.
- Maintain accountability for achieving quarterly gross margins of 50% to meet company financial objectives, P&L, and KPI targets.
- Build and manage a new offshore team to diversify cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and CFO to forecast team growth based on P&L.
- Manage departmental OKRs aligned with company goals and objectives, ensuring high levels of accountability.
REQUIREMENTS
- A natural leader with the ability to inspire and cultivate growth in others.
- 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, direct mail, loyalty programs, etc.).
- +2 years of experience directing a lifecycle/retention marketing department
- Proven experience managing department P&Ls of $2 million+.
- Experience in hiring and building both onshore and offshore teams.
- Comfortable managing teams of 15+ members.
- Have primarily worked with D2C lifestyle and CPG brands.
- Passionate about developing new lifecycle marketing services and customer journeys
- Advanced knowledge of ESPs, with a preference for experience in Klaviyo.
