Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer

3 Month contract to hire

Range $50-$60 an hour for the contract

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise to develop and maintain internal applications. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs, integrations, and data-processing logic.
• Support front-end components using React, Angular, or similar.
• Participate in requirement discussions, code reviews, and architectural planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• (Nice to Have) Work with on-prem CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience with Git and traditional on-prem deployment models.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic front-end skills (React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript).
• Background in secure or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with message queues, integration patterns, or APM tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, New Relic).
