Senior Azure Software Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR (97006) | Remote Option (Up to monthly travel required)
Employment Type: 12+ Month W2 Contract (No C2C or sponsorship)
About the Role
Talent Groups is seeking a Senior Azure Software Engineer with a strong back-end development focus to design and implement critical platform solutions. This role requires expertise in Azure Durable Functions and C#/.NET within a serverless environment. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, asks the right questions, and ensures seamless integration across multiple technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software, ensuring compliance with PCI and GLBA standards.
• Design, build, and maintain Azure Durable Functions and serverless architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and architects to develop and maintain key business solutions.
• Implement and optimize API standards for seamless system integration.
• Write and review clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and automation to improve reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies to enhance platform performance.
• Contribute to Agile development practices, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years of experience in application development, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Strong expertise in back-end Azure development, with hands-on experience in Azure Functions and Durable Functions.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET Core and SQL Server.
• Experience developing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure technologies, including Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, Transactional Queues, and Data Lake.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, with Terraform expertise preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative approach—must be proactive in engaging with the team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms (Azure preferred) is a plus.
