Company Overview
- We are looking for a Web Designer with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expertise to join one of our client companies. The company is located in California and sells fitness products all over the US. They are looking to make improvements on their Shopify stores to increase conversion and shopping experience. If you have a sharp eye for design, a deep understanding of user behavior, and a passion for creating high-converting pages—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit & Redesign Shopify Pages: Review and optimize existing Shopify landing pages and develop new, conversion-focused templates.
- Ensure designs remain user-friendly, mobile-optimized, and on-brand in collaboration with the design team.
- Product Page Optimization: Enhance product page layouts and visuals—descriptions, images, CTAs, reviews/social proof—to align with audience preferences and increase conversion rates.
- CRO Analysis & Insights: Use tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, and other CRO platforms to monitor user behavior, identify drop-off points, and uncover opportunities to increase AOV and reduce cart abandonment.
- Testing & Experimentation: Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests. Measure results, report actionable insights, and iterate designs based on performance data.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging and aligned CRO strategies. Present your insights and test results to key stakeholders regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify and e-commerce CRO design.
- Proficiency with CRO and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Google Optimize, VWO, or Optimizely.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web design best practices.
- Strong visual storytelling and layout design skills tailored for conversion.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Great verbal communication and project management skills. Comfortable collaborating across teams and presenting to stakeholders.
Preferred Graphic Design Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and optimizing landing pages in collaboration with the ads team.
- Creating visuals for partner marketing campaigns, including influencer, affiliate, and PR collaborations.
- Designing assets for social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
- Producing visuals for Amazon listings and brand stores on both Amazon and Shopify.
- Designing eye-catching creatives for email campaigns (EDMs).
