Position Overview:
We’re seeking a creative, plugged-in Social Media Manager to tell the company’s story across platforms, grow audience engagement, and support our artists, events, and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate is immersed in music and entertainment culture, understands the pulse of the industry, and brings a bold yet authentic voice to our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube
- Collaborate with management and artists to promote music releases, events, gallery exhibitions, and merchandise drops
- Manage real-time content during events, launches, and activations (remotely or onsite when needed)
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with artist milestones and brand priorities
- Monitor performance analytics, report KPIs monthly, and adjust strategy accordingly
- Stay ahead of platform trends, artist campaigns, viral sounds, and meme culture relevant to our audience
- Moderate comments and messages to foster community and protect brand integrity
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for music, entertainment, or event-focused brands
- Strong understanding of artist culture, music industry dynamics, and fan communities
- Excellent copywriting skills with a clear, authentic, and engaging voice
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later, Buffer, or similar scheduling tools
- Experience with short-form video content and content ideation
- Bonus: Familiarity with sync/licensing, digital merch marketing, or event promotions
- Must be able to work flexible hours aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST)
