About the Role- We are looking for an experienced consultant to contribute to the development and industrialization of their API Gateway platform, based on Spring Cloud Gateway and deployed at scale on Kubernetes clusters (over 100 instances with different configurations built on a common customized stack). The main goal is to simplify the deployment of new API Gateway instances while enabling seamless and secure updates of the core stack across the entire information system. The potential use or redesign of an operator is currently being explored.

About the Role - Required Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Spring Cloud Gateway
Solid experience with Java development (Spring Boot)
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes (including operators and architecture)
Experience with deployment tools and CI/CD practices (Concourse, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
Familiarity with operational aspects: monitoring, alerting, metrics, self-healing, etc.

Proactive mindset and ability to propose improvements
Strong communication skills and ability to educate technical teams
Language: French strongly preferred (English may be considered for highly qualified profiles)

Technical Challenges & Mission Goals

Act as the key interface between the API Gateway layer and the Kubernetes core
Evaluate and implement strategies for streamlined deployment of new gateway instances
Contribute to or lead the implementation of an operator for centralized update management
Enable mass updates of the stack across the system with minimal disruption and downtime
Support internal IT teams in leveraging the standardized stack easily and safely
