As the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Analyst, you will drive a lot of the SEO and PPC marketing campaigns, working with budgets, analyzing and troubleshooting bottlenecks, optimizing ad copy, performing QA, implement evolving trends (specifically with AI, and other automation), presenting actionable reports to executives, and making key decisions to drive success.

Pay range: $75-90k
Location: 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of client goals and business objectives.
- Approach challenges with curiosity, critical thinking, and data-backed decision-making.
- Proactively identify new optimization opportunities that align with strategic goals.
- Balance immediate performance improvements (quick wins) with long-term campaign scalability.
- Use predictive analysis and historical data to refine targeting and bidding strategies.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights that improve client ROI.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, innovating and testing new strategies.
- Collaborate across teams (sales, creative, web development) to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
Primary Tasks:
- Conduct advanced keyword research to identify expansion and optimization opportunities.
- Develop performance forecasts and budget projections based on data insights.
- Analyze competitor strategies to identify key opportunities.
- Optimize ad copy, audience targeting, and landing page experiences for conversion.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests, interpreting data to refine campaign performance.
- Ensure budget efficiency, and making sure Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) is maximized.
- Perform regular quality assurance (QA) to prevent performance issues.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in PPC, automation, and AI-driven marketing.
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into a cohesive and actionable report.
Qualifications (Required):
- 5+ years of PPC ad management experience (handling monthly budgets over $10,000 preferred).
- Proven expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads, Facebook Ads.
- Strong experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- 2+ years of client management experience, including presenting insights and recommendations.
- Proficient in Excel & Google Sheets, for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset, being able to interpret performance metrics and drive data-based decisions.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for landing page optimization.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- 3+ years of SEO experience.
- 3+ years experience with tools: Moz, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- 3+ years experience with Content strategy, creation, and optimization.
- 3+ years experience with Technical SEO (site audits, internal linking, redirects, and status codes).
- 3+ years experience with UX (mobile responsiveness, CTA optimization).
- Experience working with Salesforce.
- Interest in AI & prompt engineering for marketing automation and efficiency.
