Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our Core AI Services Team. This role balances technical contributions (50%) with leadership and managerial responsibilities (50%). You will dedicate:

50% of your time to hands-on project work as a software engineer.
50% of your time to managing and supporting a team of 6-10 engineers working on the same project.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Contributions (50%)

Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code.
Collaborate on project design, architecture, and implementation.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant technologies.

People Management (50%)

Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 6-10 engineers.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.
Set and communicate clear performance expectations.
Lead the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of proven experience in engineering leadership.
Strong technical expertise in software development, with proficiency in Python and Machine Learning (ML).
Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent organizational skills to balance hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective cross-functional collaboratio
