The Customer Marketing Specialist plays a key role in fostering SYSPRO America’s customer engagement and advocacy initiatives. The Specialist is responsible for creating and driving customer marketing campaigns that enhance engagement and generate revenue, while focusing on implementing customer engagement efforts aligned with the broader customer marketing strategy.
Additionally, this role supports the creation and management of customer-focused content to enhance experiences throughout the sales and customer lifecycles. The Specialist collaborates closely with the SYSPRO Americas product, sales, services, and Channel teams to drive enhanced customer adoption, engagement and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue Growth with Targeted Customer Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of cross-sell and up-sell campaigns to thousands of existing customers.
- Support Customer Adoption & Retention: Work closely with Product, Sales, Channel and Professional Services to maximize adoption rates within our customer base by executing campaigns that supporting successful usage of the SYSPRO platform.
- Work with regional SMEs to develop and deliver content that encourages platform usage. Support in person and virtual experiences that showcase existing, new, and improved platform capabilities that maximize customer ROI.
- Become Our Customer Advocacy Champion: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technical champions in our customer base to nurture a real love of our brand.
- Work closely with the account management team to create customer success stories.
- Develop and launch customer campaigns focused on upselling, cross-selling, and driving revenue growth, including initiatives for ISV/third-party program launches
- Support a thriving customer advocacy program with ample pipeline of customers willing to participate in events, speaking opportunities, customer success stories, videos and more
- Create customer success assets to integrate into marketing campaigns to support sales process
- Manage and support the creation of success stories and videos to completion
- Work with key stakeholders across the business to develop and ensure consistency in messaging across the customer and partner lifecycle
- Conduct buyer journey research, and help Marketing team optimize website, marketing touchpoints, and sales enablement assets accordingly
- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to amplify the brand
- Support planning and execution of in-person and virtual customer and partner events
- Collaborate with Marketing team to develop internal and external communications planning as needed
- Support overall marketing team goals and programs, ensuring their success in the Americas region
What You Bring To The Role
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in demand generation, content or Marketing Specialist role.
- 2+ years of working for companies in enterprise technology, B2B software or SaaS solutions
- Experience working alongside agencies and contractors
- Experience working closely with customers and partners
Skills Required
- Proven track record of creating and scaling customer marketing campaigns with trackable ROI
- Strong writing skills with experience creating compelling customer narratives
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
- Revenue-driven, results-oriented, deadline and detail-driven mindset
- Creative thinking and inquisitive with analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently with global counterparts and across multiple time zones
- Proven B2B experience, preferably within the ERP industry
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technology, including Cloud-based solutions
Knowledge
- Marketing Automation tools like Hubspot, Marketo, CRM
- Competency with MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
