About the Role
Synexus is seeking applicants for a Marketing Manager to join our team initially on a 6-month contract. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable.
Following a successful investment round, the Marketing Manager will play an essential role in helping to shape the rollout of the Synexus brand. From website creation to building style guides to developing our ongoing communications plans, this role is pivotal to establishing Synexus in the ad tech sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the rollout of the Synexus brand, including website copy creation, building brand and style guides
- Collaborate with the management team on cultivating the Synexus voice, implementing communications strategies to support the organization’s mission
- Creation of Synexus’ marketing strategy
- Input into creating Synexus positioning within the Ad tech sector
- Create and refine communications content, including talking points, news releases, thought leadership pieces, blog posts, backgrounders, social media content, and more.
- Plan and execute content experimentation (e.g., A/B email subject line tests), monitor metrics, and share data-driven results for core communications channels and products.
- Communications and website management for legacy brands until July 1st
- Help define Synexus external event strategy, draft talking points for speaking/media engagements
- Ensure existing communications materials are kept up to date and contribute to the development of key messaging tailored to target audiences
Essential Experience and Behaviors
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Marketing / Ad Tech sector
- Experience in brand building, including website creation
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong writing & editing skills
- Adept at using social media to meet marketing objectives
- Understands the importance of storytelling
- Self-starter: knows what needs to be done and can build a plan to deliver
- Be collaborative: you will work with all Synexus stakeholders to contribute to our success
- Project or campaign management experience: used to managing multiple activities at once
- Professional fluency in English
Desirable Experience and Behaviors
- Past experience and desire to work as part of a remote/virtual team.
- Experience using work tools such as Asana and Slack.
- Experience managing concurrent projects across countries and time zones.
- Comfortable working in rapid response or breaking news scenarios.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: full time equivalent $80,000 - $90,000
- Potential for flexible working hours: 4 – 5 days a week
- As a global organization, some flexibility for cross-time zone communication to be available for limited virtual meetings outside of office hours is required.
