Java Software Engineer

We’re looking for Java/Azure Developers to join the team and work on enterprise-level application development initiatives. This is a remote opportunity for professionals based in Peru, collaborating directly with U.S.-based teams in an Agile environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain in-house applications using Java and Angular.

• Build and optimize microservices (Spring WebFlux).

• Create and maintain REST and SOAP Web Services.

• Write and optimize SQL queries in Oracle PL/SQL.

• Work with application servers (JBoss, WildFly) and frameworks like Spring & Hibernate.

• Generate PDF reports using JasperReports.

• Collaborate with architects, BAs, QA, and other Agile teams.

• Perform unit testing and update technical documentation.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow DevOps/code versioning standards.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

2+ years of experience with:

-Java 8+ and Angular 12+ (intermediate/advanced).

-Oracle PL/SQL (intermediate).

-Spring (WebFlux, Spring Boot), microservices.

-Hibernate (intermediate desirable).

-JBoss / WildFly (desirable).

-REST & SOAP Web Services.

-JasperReports for PDF generation.

-AWS or Microsoft Azure experience (basic/intermediate).

-Familiarity with version control (Git) and DevOps tools (plus).

-Bilingual: English & Spanish (fluent, professional).
