Provide technical assessments for major projects, proposals, project planning and direction of TI and design efforts
Ensure all technical assessments and recommendations of software documents are thorough and complete and submitted in time to support overall program milestones and reviews
Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements
May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team

Education/Experience/Skills:

U.S. Citizenship andActive DoD SECRET Clearance required
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
SUBSITUTION: Associate degree plus two years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
3 -10 professional experience with software engineering
Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional setting
Experience with cloud migration and SQL Reporting Services
Front End and Back End development required.
Must have hands on experience with legacy systems and correcting code
Must have experience as a developer within a DoD/Federal Environment.
