Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to guide the planning, design, and delivery of user-centered digital experiences. This role involves leading a design team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and translating business and user needs into innovative visual and interaction solutions. The Lead will ensure all designs are accessible, engaging, and aligned with strategic objectives, contributing to enhanced customer satisfaction and business growth.
Software Requirements

- Design tools: Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator — demonstrable experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- User research and testing tools: UserTesting, Maze, or similar — experience conducting and analyzing user research
- Collaborative tools: Miro, InVision — skills in managing design workflows collaboratively
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — knowledge to facilitate seamless collaboration with development teams

- Motion design tools: After Effects, Principle — experience creating animated prototypes or microinteractions
- Accessibility testing tools: aXe, WAVE — familiarity with accessibility standards and compliance tools
Overall Responsibilities
- Lead the UI/UX design team to deliver innovative, user-centric designs for web and mobile applications
- Define and communicate a clear design vision aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with product management, development, and marketing teams to gather requirements and translate them into engaging visual solutions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual design specifications for various projects
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility, usability, and performance standards
- Manage design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members for continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices; share knowledge across the team
- Oversee the documentation of design systems, style guides, and user experience principles

Experience Requirements
- 5 to 10+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects
- Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring design teams
- Demonstrated success in translating complex requirements into intuitive designs
- Experience working within Agile teams and collaborating closely with product managers and developers
- Familiarity with user research, testing, and analytics to iterate and improve design solutions
Day-to-Day Activities
- Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs for upcoming projects
- Conduct user research sessions and coordinate testing to gather insights for design improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups
- Review design outputs, provide feedback, and ensure consistency across all deliverables
- Mentor junior designers, fostering continuous learning and skill development
- Keep up with industry trends and regularly evaluate new design tools and methodologies
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, balancing creativity with user and business impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms
- Leadership experience managing design teams or cross-disciplinary projects
- Demonstrable portfolio of successful digital product designs that demonstrate user-centered thinking and innovation
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles
