About The Role

Our client is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to join its growing team. This role is instrumental in shaping how the company connects with its audience, emphasizing thoughtful, human-centered experiences at every touchpoint. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative vision and meticulous execution, ensuring that every event reflects the company's brand and commitment to quality. This position offers the chance to significantly impact the company's presence at industry conferences and third-party events, fostering meaningful connections with talent leaders and elevating the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all event logistics for participation in conferences and sponsored events, including booth builds, swag, shipping, travel arrangements, staff management, room blocks, and on-site execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, and Design to ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and seamless attendee experiences.
  • Own vendor relationships, including event organizers, production partners, booth fabricators, shipping/logistics providers, and swag suppliers.
  • Manage budgets end-to-end, from forecasting and vendor negotiations to reconciling invoices and tracking spend.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including event briefs, timelines, run-of-shows, staffing and travel plans, and post-event debriefs.
  • Serve as the on-site conference lead, managing setup, run-of-show, and teardown, while ensuring a polished and professional presence.
  • Track performance metrics such as booth traffic, engagement, and ROI to inform future event sponsorship decisions. Partner with the RevOps team to ensure the right infrastructure is in place to track leads generated from events.
  • Continuously improve operational processes, vendor relationships, and documentation to drive efficiency and scalability across the event program.

Tablestakes

  • A strong project manager who keeps programs on track and anticipates issues before they arise.
  • Comfort in managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution and attention to detail.
  • A relationship-driven approach to work, understanding that collaboration is key to great outcomes with vendors, teammates, partners, and customers.
  • A view of events not just as experiences, but as powerful drivers of brand love and business growth.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; while travel responsibilities are shared, this role will require monthly travel.

You’ll stand out if

  • You bring creative, out-of-the-box ideas to how events and sponsorships come to life.
  • You design ancillary experiences around major conferences that become must-attend moments.
  • You dream up swag that attendees rave about long after the event is over.

Benefits

  • Emphasis on high-quality work and avoiding quick hacks, allowing time to do things the right way.
  • A 10-year exercise window for stock options, removing pressure to purchase if leaving the company.
  • Unlimited PTO with a recommended four weeks per year.
  • Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US, with plans to expand globally.
  • A generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget to ensure productivity and well-being.
  • A monthly education budget, with additional coverage for items like conferences with manager approval.
  • 401k match in the US.
