About the Role
Our client is looking for a high-performing Event Marketing Manager to lead their global events strategy and execution. In this role, you'll be a force multiplier — creating memorable experiences that drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and strengthen relationships with their developer and security communities. You'll play a critical role in scaling the events program, building meaningful connections, and creating the experiences that fuel business growth.
This role is remote with 30-40% travel required, including some international conferences and events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive events marketing strategy that drives measurable business outcomes
- Plan and manage 30+ events annually — from intimate developer meetups to large-scale conference activations
- Own end-to-end event execution from initial concept through post-event ROI analysis and optimization
- Coordinate complex logistics across multiple time zones, managing vendors, venues, and cross-functional teams
- Build trust and strong relationships with industry conference organizers, developer communities, and key stakeholders
- Create compelling event experiences that showcase products and tell the brand story authentically
- Track strategic initiatives, manage event budgets, and ensure flawless execution
- Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, and product teams to align events with business objectives
- Design and execute pre-event, during-event, and post-event marketing campaigns that maximize engagement
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities for company leadership at relevant industry conferences
- Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems to keep high-priority events and activations moving forward
- Lead content creation from events including recorded sessions, case studies, and social media amplification
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B events marketing, with at least 2 years in the Cybersecurity space
- Experience with developer-focused events, security conferences, or technical trade shows strongly preferred
- Proven track record managing events at scale with demonstrable business impact and ROI measurement
- Expert proficiency in event management platforms, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems
- Exceptional project management skills with the natural ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly
