Senior UX Designer – Clinical Innovation
Location: 100% remote (EST preferred)
Pay: $55 - $60 per hour
Duration: 3 month contract with potential for extension
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join an innovative team focused on developing next-generation digital experiences for healthcare professionals. This position supports a high-impact project within a portfolio of clinical and educational tools. You’ll work alongside two other UX professionals in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, backed by strong support from leadership.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the design strategy for a product line, leveraging your expertise to deliver user-centered solutions. A current portfolio demonstrating your UX design skills is required.
Key Responsibilities
User-Centered Design & Strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and use cases.
- Deliver impactful UX design work that supports both product development and business growth.
- Align and inspire cross-functional teams around user needs and research insights.
- Act as a strong advocate for the user within an agile team setting.
- Help establish and refine processes to uncover customer pain points and design opportunities.
- Coach and align the team to ensure the end-user remains at the center of design decisions.
Product Design Execution
- Apply design thinking and user-centered methodologies with mastery.
- Demonstrate strong interaction and visual design skills with keen attention to detail.
- Collaborate with UX Researchers to translate user insights into actionable design.
- Contribute to the development of product strategy and vision for customer-facing applications.
Creative Problem Solving
- Engage users in product innovation to deliver real value and drive growth.
- Confidently challenge the status quo and champion new ideas.
- Show passion and initiative in seeing innovative concepts through to execution.
- Support and elevate ideas from teammates through thoughtful collaboration.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, and InVision.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with development and technical teams.
