We are supporting one of our US-based clients in the search for a Staff Software Engineer to join their engineering organization.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a global technology company building critical infrastructure for digital money and next-generation payments.

Their platform enables businesses, institutions and developers to build with blockchain technology, powering secure, scalable and globally accessible financial infrastructure.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll help design and build the backend systems that power high-volume payments, digital asset movement and developer-facing services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Develop secure, high-performance APIs powering payment and digital asset infrastructure.
• Improve blockchain infrastructure and core platform services.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams on architecture and technical design.
• Integrate with banking and financial technology partners.
• Build reliable infrastructure using cloud services, messaging systems and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Drive technical excellence and contribute to engineering best practices across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Go.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Experience designing and building production-grade APIs.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes, EKS or ECS.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.
• Experience in payments, financial infrastructure, blockchain or Web3 is highly valued.
