Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented Marketing Video Designer to create visually compelling, brand-aligned video content that drives engagement across marketing campaigns, product launches, and digital storytelling.
This hybrid role blends motion design and visual layout expertise, supporting video editors, producers, and marketing teams to bring content to life across multiple platforms and formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design for Motion: Develop storyboards, layouts, and visual assets that form the creative foundation of marketing video content.
- Create Motion Graphics: Animate elements such as lower thirds, transitions, intros/outros, iconography, and infographics.
- Concept Collaboration: Partner with editors, producers, and marketers to brainstorm visual approaches aligned to campaign goals.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and deliver a consistent tone and style.
- Adapt for Multiple Formats: Design across various formats and platforms, including paid ads, social media, sizzle reels, product explainers, and internal content.
- Support Post-Production: Provide motion assets and design treatments that enhance live-action video edits and narratives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience in lieu of degree considered).
Experience
- 3–5+ years in motion design, visual design, or video-centric creative roles.
- Prior experience in marketing, brand, or advertising settings is highly desirable.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Figma (Sketch acceptable, but must be willing to work in Figma).
- Strong portfolio showcasing clean, compelling video design and animation.
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, and design principles for video.
- Familiarity with video production workflows and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience using Frame.io and similar video collaboration tools.
- Ability to iterate quickly and refine designs based on feedback.
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Bonus: Knowledge of 3D or interactive motion design.
- Bonus: Understanding of performance-driven content and engagement strategies.
