The Marketing Business Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the vendor contract and procurement lifecycle for the marketing organization. This role requires strong collaboration with business owners, marketing technology analysts, finance, and leadership teams to ensure a seamless and efficient procurement process. The analyst will also provide data-driven insights to support decision-making, vendor consolidation, and cost optimization.

This is a one year contract role with possibility to become a temp to hire for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring contracts are efficiently reviewed, approved, and executed.
Collaborate with key stakeholders in marketing, technology, sourcing, and accounts payable to align purchase agreements with business objectives.
Analyze contract terms and vendor agreements, identifying potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance considerations.
Evaluate vendor relationships, identifying opportunities for consolidation and process improvements.
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring proper cost allocation and accurate invoicing.
Generate ad hoc financial and operational reports, providing insights to enhance efficiency and financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2-4 years of experience in business analysis, procurement, or financial operations.
Financial or Contract experience
Taking initiatives through an end-to-end process

Skills & Competencies:

Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to identify inefficiencies.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation abilities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
