What is needed in this role:
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer. History and recent experience as a Mobile UX Designer working closely with development. A portfolio that clearly demonstrates mobile UX thinking and real product work.
- In-depth understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines (e.g., Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design System Guidelines (Material 3).
- Expertise in mobile navigation patterns like bottom navigation bars, tab bars, and gesture-based interactions.
- Specialized in designing for touch gestures and other mobile-specific interactions.
- Knowledge of mobile development constraints to understand the limitations and possibilities of native apps.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams in agile environments.
- Ability to present and explain UX decisions clearly and confidently.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards for mobile applications.
