SOFTWARE ENGINEER (.NET/ANGULAR)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Software engineer (.NET/Angular) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is the leading global provider of enterprise software and services that enable companies to manage and optimize their environmental, health, safety, and sustainability processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of web development, with a strong focus on back-end technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• University degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Web SaaS multi-tenant systems.
• Expert knowledge of Transact-SQL.
• Strong expertise in back-end architecture, including performance optimization, security, and scalability.
• Solid experience building .NET Web APIs using C#.
• Experience with Azure technologies and services, such as Application Gateway, Queues, Azure Functions, and Azure B2C.
• Familiarity with Angular using TypeScript and Jasmine (front-end experience is beneficial but not the primary focus).
• Experience working in Agile Scrum development environments.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively independently and in a dynamic team environment.
• Proven time management, organizational and follow-up skills to meet deadlines.
• Quality-oriented with a passion for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Work on a performance optimization initiative for a high-volume bulk upload pipeline by redesigning the processing workflow to improve throughput and scalability. The project involved atomizing the bulk upload operation into individual entry processing tasks, allowing uploads to run asynchronously and at lower priority relative to core day-to-day system operations. This architecture ensured that large uploads would not degrade real-time platform performance.
• Following the architectural change, focused on optimizing the single-entry processing path by identifying bottlenecks, reducing processing overhead, and improving execution efficiency. Established and monitored performance benchmarks to achieve a defined throughput target measured in lines processed per minute. The work included iterative profiling, optimization, and validation to ensure the system could sustain high-volume uploads while maintaining reliability and operational stability.
