We are looking for a Cyber Data Scientist to join the team, specializing in leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to detect and prevent cyber threats. You will analyze large-scale network data, build predictive models, and contribute to the ongoing development of cybersecurity defense mechanisms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cybersecurity-focused data science, network data analysis, or threat intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of Python and relevant data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, PyArrow, Polars).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, intrusion detection systems, and network security concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Statistics, or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies and cloud environments (AWS).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance standards (SOC2, FedRAMP, NIST).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
Responsibilities
- Analyze network and security data to identify anomalies and potential cyber threats.
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for threat detection.
- Utilize Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, PyArrow, Polars, etc.) for data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity and engineering teams to integrate analytical models into cybersecurity solutions.
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of predictive models and analytical approaches.
- Prepare detailed analysis reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
