Performance Marketing Operator (Meta-First)

About Us

We're a growing company specializing in lead generation for home service niches like roofers and movers. We're building a scalable marketing machine that's driven by customer proof and data. If you're a proven specialist in Meta ads with a track record of delivering results in similar motions, this is your opportunity to own and scale our performance marketing engine.

Role Overview

As our Performance Marketing Operator (Meta-First), you'll be the key player in installing and running an operator-led marketing machine. You'll focus exclusively on Meta as the primary platform, targeting one avatar per funnel (e.g., roofers and movers) with one offer and one channel until we achieve consistent profitability. Once dialed in, you'll scale to additional channels and funnels. You'll be supported by a part-time creative/editor to keep the ad pipeline flowing.

This is an in-house role designed to eliminate key-man risk, scale creative output, and get us off the CEO-led ad tinkering hamster wheel. You'll operate with a clear scorecard, checklists from our marketing playbook, and a mandate to prioritize inputs that print appointments.

Key Responsibilities (90-Day Mandate)

  • Focus and Execution: Manage one avatar per funnel (roofers, movers) on Meta only until consistent results are achieved. Stick to one offer and one channel, then expand.
  • Daily Inputs: Follow the Rule of 100—dedicate 100 minutes per day to making and testing ads for the first 100 days. Systemize the creative pipeline by pulling proof from clients (reviews, before/afters, heatmaps, dashboards) to ensure ads are customer-proof driven, not founder-dependent.
  • Weekly Cadence:Track and report on a scorecard including spend, CPL (media-only), cost per engaged lead (payroll-inclusive), cost per booked call, show rate, CAC, and revenue by cohort. Use this to decide what to kill or scale.
  • Build the Machine: Implement Marketing Machine checklists into your weekly routine (Monday start-of-week and Friday debrief) to maintain a steady ad supply.

90-Day Targets

We're results-oriented, so you'll be measured against clear benchmarks:

  • Cost per engaged lead (payroll-inclusive) ≤ $60—use payroll/lead math to evaluate returns.
  • Cost per booked call ≤ $200, with booked-to-show rate ≥ 60% (improved via nurture sequences).
  • CAC within 3x industry average, with a focus on pushing LTV and gross profit higher.

Who We're Looking For

We're not hiring potential—we're hiring proven killers who've already won on Meta with similar lead gen motions at scale. You should be a specialist ready to grow our methods without heavy oversight.

  • Must-Haves:
  • Proven track record running Meta ads for lead gen in niches like home services (e.g., roofers, movers).
  • Experience with performance marketing at scale, including testing creatives, angles, and forecasts.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable with scorecards, cohort analysis, and optimizing for CPL, CAC, and LTV.
  • Ability to systemize proof-based creative production without relying on founder input.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with tools like Meta Ads Manager, analytics platforms, and basic creative editing.
  • Experience in B2B or service-based lead funnels.
