Title: Marketing Operations Director

About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven and versatile Marketing Operations Director to lead our growing team. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our delivery teams — including Web Development, SEO, Customer Success, and Paid Media — ensuring our projects run smoothly and our clients are thrilled. You’ll be the go-to leader for marketing execution and team alignment.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Systems & Processes
- Design and implement scalable workflows for campaign execution, client reporting, QA, and feedback loops.
- Maintain and optimize the marketing tech stack (CRM, email platforms, analytics tools, etc.).
- Lead the integration of marketing automation tools with sales and project management systems.
2. Campaign Operations
- Oversee execution processes for digital campaigns (paid ads, SEO, email, content), ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Define, document, and enforce SOPs for campaign launches, optimizations, and reporting.
- Manage client onboarding operations to ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
3. Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to track performance across all marketing activities.
- Drive data hygiene and consistency across client and internal systems.
- Provide regular performance insights and recommend process enhancements based on findings.
4. Project & Resource Management
- Align resources (people, budget, time) with strategic marketing goals.
- Collaborate with creative, media buying, content, and client success teams to maintain project flow and capacity planning.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement tools to increase operational efficiency.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing ops specialists and coordinators.
- Act as a key liaison between marketing, sales, product, and client success teams.
QualificationsRequired:
- 6+ years in marketing operations, agency experience strongly preferred.
- 3+ years in a leadership or director-level operations role.
- Proven experience with martech tools such as Go High Level, Google Analytics, ClickUp, Zapier, and similar platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, content, email).
Preferred:
- Background in B2B marketing or working with local service-based clients.
- Experience in scaling marketing teams or systems in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Looker Studio, or similar BI/reporting tools.
