About Us

Surch Digital is a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Raleigh, NC, specializing in helping local service based businesses — from roofers and landscapers to medical practices and law firms. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Consultant / Account Manager who can both own client relationships end-to-end and act as a strategic consultant to drive growth.

This role blends account management with consultative leadership: you’ll partner closely with our SMB clients, lead performance reviews, explain digital strategies in plain terms, and uncover new opportunities to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of SMB clients throughout their lifecycle.
• Consult and strategize: Lead business reviews and client strategy sessions, aligning marketing campaigns with each client’s growth objectives.
• Drive measurable business impact: Translate client goals into actionable marketing plans across SEO, Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, content, and web.
• Performance insights and reporting: Analyze campaign data, present clear insights, and recommend optimizations to improve results.
• Collaborate with internal teams: Partner with SEO, Paid Ads, and Creative teams to ensure deliverables are executed at a high standard and aligned with client needs.
• Identify growth opportunities: Proactively recommend upsell/cross-sell services (SEO, PPC, content, web enhancements, automation) that support client growth.
• Revenue retention + expansion: Take ownership of client success metrics, including satisfaction, retention, and portfolio growth.
• Educate clients: Simplify and explain complex digital marketing concepts so SMB owners clearly understand the “why” behind strategies and campaigns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing account management, consulting, or client success, with a track record of leading SMB clients.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable results in industries like roofing, landscaping, medical services, or other local service sectors.
• Strong working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads (advanced certifications a plus).
• Commercial mindset with experience uncovering upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Skilled communicator and presenter — able to translate technical strategies into business value for SMB decision-makers.
• Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.).
• Bonus: experience with HubSpot or HighLevel (GHL), CRM/automation, or other marketing tech platforms.
