Sunski is looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator who will energize our community and build our organic following through excellent strategy and engaging organic video content. This role owns the Sunski social media channels end-to-end, from top-level strategy through to production and editing of in-house creative content. This role sits within the Sunski marketing team and reports to the co-founder.
This role can be mostly remote, but we'd need you within about an hour's drive of our San Francisco beach office.

- You can think strategically about the big picture and plot a path to get to the goal, but can also roll up your sleeves and execute to get the job done.
- You like to tell visual stories: you can shoot great content, create a solid edit, have a strong sense of aesthetic, and you know how to use it all to make a memorable and compelling point.
- You are a community builder, energized by connecting with people online, sparking conversation and turning followers into fans.
- You have several years of experience building organic social traction for a brand or entity.
- You are Bay-Area based, ideally located within an hour’s drive of our San Francisco beach office so that you can collaborate with the founders and produce content in-person.
- You can get down with our brand philosophy of getting back to our human roots in nature, and are ready to bring it to the world in a major way.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with Sunski's mission to get our people outside to find joy and feel human.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Sunski social media channels, including calendar programming, content creation and community engagement.
- Capture, edit and produce authentic ‘lo-fi’ brand content to showcase the brand, our community and our unique point of view.
- Monitor social trends, other-brand activity, and keep abreast of the cultural zeitgeist to inform our content strategy and ensure we are hitting the mark.
Compensation: Annual salary starting at about $95,000 per year, plus great health benefits (medical, dental, vision), internet reimbursement, and 4% company-paid 401k matching after a year on the job.
