About The Role

The Web and Digital Designer position is a vital part of CableLabs' Marketing department, responsible for creating visually compelling digital and print assets that support our strategic initiatives. This fully remote role involves designing, optimizing, and managing web content, ensuring a seamless user experience across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual design skills, a solid understanding of UX principles, and hands-on experience with web content management systems, particularly WordPress. Your work will directly impact our digital presence by enhancing user engagement, accessibility, and search engine visibility, thereby supporting marketing and business objectives. You will collaborate across departments to deliver cohesive design solutions, develop high-quality graphics, and maintain the integrity of our brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in web, digital, or graphic design
• Strong portfolio showcasing web design and marketing/print work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience building and managing web content on WordPress
• Understanding of UX principles and responsive design
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Figma, basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, experience with other page builders, and familiarity with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling web pages, landing pages, and marketing assets aligned with brand standards
• Apply UX principles to improve usability, user journeys, and conversion rates
• Build and maintain responsive, accessible WordPress pages ensuring consistent layouts
• Implement on-page SEO strategies to enhance search visibility and site performance
• Audit websites and landing pages to identify and resolve issues such as broken links and outdated content
• Provide cross-departmental support by delivering cohesive web and design solutions
• Create high-quality graphics and promotional materials to support marketing campaigns
• Assist with other duties related to web and digital design as assigned
