About The Role

We are seeking a talented mid-level UX and Web Designer to join our agency team on an ongoing contract basis. This hands-on, cross-functional role offers the opportunity to take ownership of design projects from initial concept through to polished, production-ready deliverables. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and clients to craft intuitive, engaging digital products. You will be responsible for creating wireframes, user flows, and visual designs across web and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your expertise in design systems and component libraries will support scalable and consistent design language across projects. This role is fully remote, requiring EST hours, and offers 20 hours of work per week through March 2027, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX/UI and website design experience, preferably within an agency or multi-project environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work from research to production
• Experience designing responsive websites and mobile applications (iOS/Android)
• Ability to work directly with clients, present designs, and incorporate feedback effectively
• Familiarity with design handoff workflows and collaboration with front-end developers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong systems thinking, capable of balancing big-picture flows with detailed pixel work
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm EST

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition of user flows, information architecture, and wireframes across web, mobile, and app projects
• Translate complex requirements into clear, intuitive interaction patterns and prototypes
• Create polished, on-brand UI designs that optimize aesthetics, usability, and conversion rates
• Maintain visual consistency across screens, states, and responsive breakpoints
• Collaborate with developers during design handoff to ensure fidelity and accuracy
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries within Figma
• Support production workflows, including QA reviews and design updates through project launch
• Present and articulate design decisions to clients and internal stakeholders effectively
• Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate accessibility standards where applicable
