About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our full-time team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing game functionality, translating creative concepts into engaging gameplay experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality mobile games. Your expertise will contribute to the development of THNDR’s casual and hyper-casual game portfolio, emphasizing industry-leading gameplay, graphics, and animations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of gaming by integrating Bitcoin and blockchain technology into compelling mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Unity development and professional game development
• Experience in publishing a mobile game from inception to launch
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
• Understanding of gameplay programming principles
• Proficiency in C# programming language
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within diverse teams
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in Bitcoin and the Lightning Network
• Experience creating and publishing games on Google Play and the App Store
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members at all levels
• Track record of working on and successfully publishing mobile games

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, plan, and bring new game ideas from concept to launch
• Drive the development process, offering improvements and suggestions to enhance code quality throughout production
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to develop high-quality products that meet customer needs
• Implement new game features and services in partnership with the Product and Backend teams
• Focus on developing THNDR’s casual and hyper-casual game portfolio, ensuring top-tier gameplay, graphics, and animations
• Create, debug, maintain, and optimize the game engine, editor, and related development tools
