About The Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with frontend development skills to join our team and influence the user experience of our property management platform. This hybrid role combines product design and frontend engineering, offering an exciting opportunity to own and develop our design system, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and implement designs directly in React. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces for property managers, tenants, and internal teams. You will be responsible for leading design initiatives from conception to implementation, conducting user research, and iterating based on real-world feedback. Your work will directly impact the usability and effectiveness of our platform, helping us deliver a seamless experience that meets the needs of diverse users.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of UI/UX design experience in digital products, web, or SaaS environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing product design, user research, and design systems
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React, including building components and understanding component patterns
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
• Experience designing for complex workflows or B2B SaaS products
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively across teams
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
• Strong assets include:
• Experience in property management, operations software, or related B2B SaaS
• HTML/CSS skills in addition to React development
• Experience building or maintaining a design system
• User research and usability testing expertise
• Familiarity with Stan AI’s tech stack including React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience working in agile environments with product managers and engineers
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)

Responsibilities

• Lead the UX design for new features and product areas, conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and advocating for user needs in technical discussions
• Develop and maintain the company's design system and component library to ensure consistency and ease of implementation for engineering teams
• Implement selected designs directly in React, collaborating closely with engineers to bridge the gap between design and code
• Design micro-interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance user engagement and delight
• Champion inclusive and accessible design practices, ensuring the product is usable by all users
• Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate designs rapidly to improve usability and satisfaction
• Measure the impact of design changes on user behavior and product metrics to inform continuous improvement
• Manage Figma files, design tokens, documentation, and streamline the design-to-development handoff process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product vision, user experience, and technical feasibility
