About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Product Designer to join our dynamic team on a project-based, fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in digital product design, particularly within the travel and hospitality industry. This role involves working within a highly technical digital product framework, supporting approximately 40 client accounts through full website builds, feature updates, and new AI product designs. The Digital Product Designer will work closely with a senior UI/UX team to craft user-centered designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and adherence to structured design systems to ensure seamless engineering handoffs and optimal user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital product design or UX/UI design
• Proficiency in Figma, including experience with design systems, components, and multi-viewport layouts
• Experience preparing developer-ready files, including technical specifications, annotations, and content documentation
• Strong understanding of digital best practices such as accessibility standards, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches
• Ability to interpret product data and communicate design rationale effectively to cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces across multiple viewports, from mobile-first to desktop, within an established Figma design system
• Create and deliver comprehensive, developer-ready design files, including technical specs and annotations for seamless engineering integration
• Contribute to UX consulting activities, including heuristic evaluations and journey mapping to optimize user experience
• Ensure all designs comply with digital best practices, including accessibility standards, responsive layouts, and touch target considerations
• Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose product issues and develop data-informed design solutions
• Participate in structured handoff processes by providing well-documented, organized design assets to engineering teams
• Stay updated with current digital design trends, including AI product integrations and evolving design system standards
