About The Role
We are seeking a talented Marketing Data Scientist to join OpenArt as our first dedicated marketing-focused data science professional. Reporting directly to the Head of Data, this role is pivotal in building and enhancing measurement frameworks, experimentation strategies, and insightful analysis to support and optimize our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate across marketing, growth, product, data engineering, and finance teams, contributing to high-impact projects such as attribution modeling, channel measurement, and real-time influencer/UGC traffic analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where your insights directly influence strategic decisions and growth trajectories. You will inherit existing projects like multi-model attribution and live incrementality testing, while also pioneering new initiatives in real-time influencer measurement, addressing current gaps and elevating our marketing analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or marketing science
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, capable of managing data end-to-end
- Experience supporting marketing, growth, or lifecycle teams with data-driven insights
- Expertise in at least one measurement specialty such as experimentation, attribution, MMM, or growth analytics
- Strong product and business intuition, with the ability to interpret data within a strategic context
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex insights into actionable recommendations
- High ownership mindset and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly marketing measurement reviews, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to influencer marketing teams
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to monitor traffic spikes, CAC, ROAS, payback periods, and campaign performance across channels
- Identify and debug attribution gaps across ad platforms, warehouses, and CRM systems, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing efforts
- Design and execute incrementality, holdout, and A/B tests to evaluate marketing program effectiveness
- Collaborate on survey design and analysis to improve platform-reported CAC metrics
- Conduct in-depth analyses such as cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and creative performance reviews to inform spend decisions
- Contribute to the development of marketing attribution architecture, including channel taxonomy, attribution windows, and multi-model approaches
- Implement and enhance influencer/creator attribution tracking through unique codes, UTMs, and landing pages
- Communicate insights effectively to marketing leaders and cross-functional teams, fostering a data-informed decision-making culture
- Set standards for measurement rigor and experimentation quality within the marketing organization
