About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager to join our Global Games Marketing team at Sony Interactive Entertainment. This role will focus on supporting the marketing and branding efforts for exclusive titles developed by PlayStation Studios. Reporting directly to the Senior Staff Manager, Global Brand Marketing, the successful candidate will collaborate with global marketing teams and development studios to craft compelling brand strategies and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for high-profile game titles. The position offers the flexibility of working remotely on the West Coast, with offices based in San Mateo or Los Angeles, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for gaming and proven experience in global brand management to contribute to the success of iconic gaming franchises.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in brand and product marketing, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an MBA is a plus
• Deep understanding of AAA game titles and platform experience is preferred
• Proven success in developing impactful global consumer strategies and executing mass-market marketing campaigns
• Strong knowledge of brand marketing, consumer insights, product positioning, and creative development
• Experience managing marketing budgets and leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Passion for video games and entertainment industry trends

Responsibilities

• Define and develop global brand and product strategies, including positioning, unique selling propositions, and go-to-market approaches based on target audience insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure alignment on brand objectives and marketing initiatives
• Oversee the planning, execution, and success measurement of global marketing campaigns for assigned titles
• Manage internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver marketing assets and campaigns aligned with brand strategies
• Partner with development studios, primarily based in Los Angeles, to craft product marketing strategies, including target audience segmentation, monetization models, launch timing, and feature sets
• Utilize consumer insights through qualitative and quantitative research to inform game development and marketing strategies
• Manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve campaign goals and maximize ROI
• Ensure consistent brand representation across all global activations and campaigns
