Now we are looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer to expand and strengthen our mobile test automation. This role is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the speed and quality of our mobile releases as we scale the team.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain automated tests specifically for the Android platform to ensure the high quality of our SDK.
- Increase automation coverage and help reduce regression testing time for Android releases.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for our mobile Android SDK.
- Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD and improve infrastructure stability for the Android pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with the Android development team, QA, and product managers to quickly identify, escalate, and resolve platform-specific issues.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile automation testing, with a primary focus on Android.
- Strong hands-on experience with Espresso (native Android testing framework).
- Solid programming skills in Kotlin and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and mobile build processes (Gradle).
- Proactive, independent, and able to drive Android-specific quality issues to resolution.
- Interested in deepening technical expertise in Android automation rather than moving into management.
- Good command of the English language.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with cross-platform tools (Appium, Detox) or Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
- Knowledge of UI Automator for testing interactions outside of the app.
- Experience with test optimization, parallelization, and running tests on farm devices (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack).
- Ability to build internal tools or custom testing frameworks to support the Android QA lifecycle.
