Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Remote – Based in Egypt (Company Operations: Tanzania)

Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic, creative, and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead and manage the company's overall digital marketing and social media strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening SUMET's digital presence, building brand awareness, generating quality leads, driving customer acquisition, managing influencer partnerships, and delivering measurable business results.

The role will be based remotely in Egypt, with regular coordination with the Tanzania-based management and operational teams. The candidate must also be willing and flexible to travel outside Egypt, including to Tanzania and other markets, whenever required by business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall digital marketing and social media strategy in alignment with company objectives.
• Lead and manage the company's social media platforms and overall digital presence.
• Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximum return on investment (ROI).
• Develop and implement effective lead-generation strategies to attract, engage, and convert potential customers.
• Drive brand awareness, audience engagement, customer acquisition, and business growth through digital channels.
• Develop and oversee content strategies, including creative concepts, content production, publishing schedules, and brand consistency.
• Identify, engage, negotiate with, and manage influencers and content creators at all levels, including micro, mid-tier, macro, and high-profile influencers.
• Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations to strengthen brand visibility and generate leads and sales.
• Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, including reach, engagement, leads generated, conversion rates, and ROI.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the digital marketing, social media, and content creation team.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and digital trend monitoring to identify new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment between digital campaigns and business objectives.
• Prepare regular digital marketing performance reports and present insights and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate remotely with Tanzania-based teams and travel outside Egypt when required by business needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing and strategic social media management.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies and managing advertising budgets.
• Strong practical knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and other digital advertising platforms.
• Proven experience in lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion-focused marketing.
• Experience managing influencer marketing campaigns and building relationships with influencers and content creators at different levels.
• Strong understanding of content strategy, brand management, audience engagement, SEO, and digital campaign optimization.
• Ability to analyze marketing data, monitor KPIs, and improve campaign performance and ROI.
• Strong leadership, team management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote working environment.
• Must be based in Egypt and willing to travel outside Egypt, including Tanzania, whenever required by business needs.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or distribution businesses will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the Tanzanian market and consumer behavior will be an added advantage.
