Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000
Overview
We are seeking a driven and dynamic Marketing Generalist to lead marketing initiatives across the Grow Your Studio Profitability (GYSP) program. As a Marketing Generalist, you’ll split your time between client-facing consulting and developing a strategic marketing curriculum to be used across our portfolio of boutique fitness clients. You will act as a trusted advisor to studio owners, lead virtual quarterly marketing retreats, and collaborate closely with a team of marketing specialists to ensure curriculum and playbooks across all channels align with the overarching strategy. You will be the main point of contact for all studio owners within GYSP, and direct them to specialists for Make It Happen (MIH) calls depending on their specific marketing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 15–20 hours/week of client-facing calls, providing strategic marketing consulting to boutique fitness studio owners
- Develop comprehensive marketing curriculum including campaign playbooks, quarterly planning templates, and educational materials tailored to boutique fitness studios
- Ability to execute and coach on paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, with a focus on awareness and lead generation campaigns.
- Ability to execute and coach on a complete marketing strategy—including paid digital campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and grassroots/organic strategies such as community partnerships, events, referral programs, and local visibility initiatives
- Plan, coordinate, and host a quarterly virtual marketing retreat for 100+ studio owners, designed to help them plan and launch their next 90-day marketing cycle
- Monitor marketing trends within the boutique fitness industry and apply insights to improve frameworks and recommendations
- Support internal content creation, such as case studies, training resources, or internal documentation as needed
- Collaborate with internal marketing team and connect clients to specialists when needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on strategy and campaign planning
- Deep understanding of the boutique fitness industry—experience working with or in fitness studios is strongly preferred
- Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills—comfortable leading Zoom calls and virtual workshops
- Ability to think strategically while managing multiple priorities
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset; able to work cross-functionally with creative and technical team members
- Proven ability to design and implement both digital and grassroots marketing strategies to drive client acquisition and retention
