Contract Graphic Designer

This position is for a contracted role, with hours dependent on Streamline’s needs. Estimated hours are 3-10 per week, but may vary. As a self-employed professional, you will have full control over how, when, and where you complete your work while meeting agreed-upon deadlines. This contractor position is benefits ineligible. This position requires you to have your own business entity, tools, and resources to complete projects independently and may not be treated as an employee role.

You must be located in the United States, sign an NDA, and pass a criminal background check.

About the Role

We’re seeking an independent Graphic Designer to deliver high-quality website designs and marketing assets on a project basis. The ideal candidate operates their own design business and is looking to collaborate with Streamline on select projects while maintaining control over their own workflow.

Streamline provides a content management system that allows customers to build and customize websites. As we expand the rollout of our new design platform, we’re looking for a designer who can create professional-grade web designs as a service provider to our customers and design marketing materials for our company on a separate, as-needed basis.

What You’ll Do

• Work independently to create custom website designs for Enterprise customers using the Streamline platform, ensuring visual excellence, brand consistency, and user engagement.
• Provide design assets such as icons, imagery, and branding elements to customers who require additional visual enhancements.
• Offer guidance to customers on branding and web design best practices as an external consultant.
• Deliver marketing design services for Streamline (e.g., sales materials, product marketing collateral, and illustrations) as separate projects.

Requirements

• Operates as an independent contractor (1099 status) with the ability to take on multiple clients.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work, preferably in SaaS or technology-related projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience designing for digital marketing, including social media, email, and paid ads.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with content management systems (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, HubSpot) preferred.

Pay

• Enterprise website design projects flat rate: $1,000-$2,000 per project. (Estimating of 4-6 projects over the next 6-8 months)
• Product marketing design work $40-$65/hr. (Estimating of 3-5 hours per week)
