Senior Software Engineer - C#/.NET

We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team.

This is a hands-on C#/.NET role focused on modernising core trading and operational systems. You’ll work across new feature development, system improvements, cloud-native architecture, and technical debt reduction in a fast-moving environment where engineers have real ownership and influence.

The team is actively embedding AI into the software development lifecycle, so this would suit someone already using AI tools, coding assistants, or coding agents as well as someone keen to push this further in a practical engineering environment.

The ideal background would be fintech or financial markets, particularly FX, trading, treasury, or similar. Just as important is the ability to work broadly: this is not a narrow, siloed role. You’ll need to be comfortable getting involved across design, development, support, integration, modernisation, and problem-solving where requirements are not always fully defined.

Requirements

• Strong C#/.NET engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills
• AWS or Azure cloud exposure
• Experience with microservices, messaging, or event-driven systems
• Hands-on use of AI tools or coding agents
• A broad, generalist engineering mindset
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Ideally experience in FX, trading, treasury, fintech, or financial markets
